AIM

“PETathon” is a fun-pack charity event. It demonstrates the beautiful harmony between men and animals. While raising funds for the orphans and needy children, pets and their owners gain an opportunity to hike leisurely with other animal lovers amidst serene surroundings. Life touches life, it holds true among all, we welcome you, with or without pets!

All proceeds (less all expenses) will go toward helping underprivileged and handicapped orphans and children through the Family Anew Movement programs.

ENROLLMENT METHODS

1) Electronic Submission
Download the Participant Form (PDF / DOC) and return the completed form via email, followed by the cheque / deposit slip (if any) of your donation by mail; OR make the donation via credit card / Paypal on or before the deadline.

2) General Submission
Return the Participant Form (PDF / DOC) via mail / fax / email on or before the deadline.

1) Shuttle Bus
Shuttle bus service available (to and fro Mongkok / Tsuen Wan) as follows:
Tsuen Wan (meet at 12:15) – Sai Lau Kok Road, near MTR and Nan Fung Centre

*Take any bus or green minibus through Wong Nai Chung Gap Road. Get off at the Shell Petrol Station near Hong Kong Parkview right after the tennis court. Walk up the stairs beside the Petrol Station to Tai Tam Reservoir Road. Walk uphill along the road for about 10 – 15 minutes till a barrier gate.

3) Taxi
From Causeway Bay：travel time 10 minutes, approx. fare HK$40
From Admiralty：travel time 15 minutes, approx. fare HK$50

NOTES FOR PARTICIPANTS

  1. The CEO Foundation is a registered charitable organization in Hong Kong. Donations of HKD $100 and above are tax-deductible. Official receipts would be issued to individual / corporate / group participants on or before 14/5/2013.
  2. Participants should keep a photocopy of the completed sponsorship form for their own record.
  3. Participants are welcome to bring friendly, non-aggressive pets to join the event.
  4. All dogs joining the event should be at least 6 month-old and should have been vaccinated for rabies, parvovirus and dog-distemper. Dog owners should produce relevant document (dog license or vaccination record) for verification.
  5. Dog owners MUST restraint their dog(s) during the event.
  6. Pet owners are responsible to make sure that their pets are physically fit to participate on the day of event.
  7. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets’ droppings to maintain a clean environment.
  8. Participants are responsible for checking the weather condition on the event day and clothed accordingly, and to prepare own water and/or food as needed.
  9. The CEO Foundation is not responsible for any accident occurs during the event, e.g. death, injury, negligence, property loss, etc.
  10. In the event of tropical cyclone warning signal no. 3 or above AND/OR if the yellow / red / black rainstorm signal is hoisted /issued 2 hours before the event commences, the event will be automatically cancelled. If and when these conditions occur, no refund will be made on donations submitted.
  11. In case of disputes, the decision of The CEO Foundation shall be final and binding.
