2013
  • Commenced The FA Apprenticeship Program in Luoning, Henan, China.
  • The FA Apprenticeship Program and Training Centre received endorsement by Henan Civil Services Department, selected and recognized by the Central Government of China as one of the four pilot-locations nationwide to help in its establishment of the National Children Welfare Legislation.
  • Kick-started the professionalization process for the Apprenticeship Program, i.e., train-the-trainer classes for local teachers and social workers conducted by overseas trainers.
  • Launched The Family Anew Apprenticeship Program Kindergarten.

2012
  • Accepted the invitation extended by Luoning Civil Services Department to build and launch The CEO Family Anew Apprenticeship Program through establishing a centre on the 4th Floor of the Luoning Children Welfare Institute.
  • Signed a 30-year operating agreement to enact the FA Apprenticeship Program in Luoning County.
  • Activated the “Family Anew Internship Program” agreement with the Law School at the Luoyang Teachers’ University to select 12+/- Social Worker interns per year to undergo relevant trainings and hand-on experience while the FA beneficiaries (children/teens/families) received professional counseling and related services accordingly.
2011
  • Ms. Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯小姐) became the Honorary CEO Ambassador.

2010
  • Opened the 1st CEO Pre-school & Special Education Centre in Beiyao Village, Luoyang to create a learning and education platform for the disabled orphans that were not accepted at public schools.
2008
  • The “FA Foster Care Program” for handicapped orphans successfully promoted Luoyang Children Welfare Institute to become the 3rd of the top 10 children welfare institutes.
  • Expanded the “FA Apprenticeship Program” to become the “FA Apprentice-Scholarship Program” and cooperated with Shanxi Phonics English Academy to sponsor eligible teenage orphans to continue high-school education.
  • Activated the third foster care site, Lilou village.
  • Began to place the physically and/mentally improved fostered children into local kindergarten and elementary school.
2007
  • CEO Resource Center opened at LYCWI purposed to build inner-confidence and to provide vocational training.
  • First CEO Youth Summer Camp aimed to encourage close encounter interactions between the orphans in LYCWI and youth from outside of Luoyang. Values on character, family and relationship were affirmed in all activities.
2006
  • Addition of two foster care sites : Beiyao and Xiayuan villages.
2005
  • 1st Annual Family Reunion Event for all foster care parents and their children ~ A day to recognize and acknowledge their parental contribution to disabled orphaned children.

  • 1st quarterly Love-in-Action trip for sponsors from outside of Luoyang purposed for them to gain direct interactions and to build meaningful relationship with their sponsored-child(ren)

  • Kick-started the FA Foster Care Program for Orphans with Luoyang local authority.
  • Renovated two toddler playrooms and public washroom facilities on the main floor at LYCWI.

  • Family Anew (“FA”) Movement commenced with a local foster care program for handicapped orphans.
  • Cooperative agreement and preliminary launch plan enacted between CEO and Luoyang Children Welfare Institute (“LYCWI”) in Luoyang, Henan, China
